When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going!

Apr 24th 2020

As we continue through this pandemic, we are seeing and hearing of so many positive stories that encourage us to continue doing what we can to help our greater Healthcare Professionals on the frontlines of this disease. We recently ordered 1,000 Medical Coveralls that required us to hire a third-party customs clearance broker who filed for FDA registration on our behalf. Customs clearance was another speedbump to navigate in our efforts to make medical supply donations. We are also still waiting on news regarding another order of Masks, but we are still hopeful that we can receive them soon so we can distribute them to the places in the most need.

The Medical Coveralls were harder to acquire, especially in large quantities. This required FDA registration in order to make purchases and clear customs. However FDA policies change often, and are changing to help fight this pandemic.

Once the Coveralls were cleared and received, we had to create translations for the Coveralls' packaging and documents. We were then able to quickly donate and distribute these coveralls to our local hospitals and healthcare professionals. On each box we placed a label that read "When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Thank you for you service!” We have already received images of our coveralls being used by Doctors and Nurses!

Despite the initial customs delay, we have found our donations process to be more straightforward than we originally anticipated. The more we do, the easier it has become, and it is incredibly encouraging to see all the products we have been able to import and distribute to hospitals and others in need. We are so inspired by the bravery and dedication of our healthcare professionals and are happy to be able to provide some of the protective equipment they need.

Please join our efforts in donating to hospitals, doctors, nurses, healthcare workers and communities!

We have spoken to and heard news of many other businesses and professionals who are working hard to donate to and support their local communities. Our neighboring business’s have been supporting and working with the Children’s Hospital, and have reaffirmed our goal of spreading our story of donations and support, and encouraging more and more people to do the same.

We are ready to help in any way – please reach out to us if you have any questions about our process of finding, ordering and donating supplies. We would love to help you help your community by sharing our experience!
