After weeks being in the dark on whether or not we would receive the 40,000 Medical Masks we ordered from China, our shipment arrived in full a few weeks ago. We were relieved and excited, but we still had work to do before we could donate.

The first thing we did was test our Masks. We put them through the gauntlet of tests recommended by the FDA to make sure our Medical Masks met all the necessary requirements. We made a video of our testing to send out for all inquiring parties so they could be confident in the quality of masks that they were receiving. We were thrilled to see that our masks passed every test needed.

We then worked directly with the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency to make sure our masks could be donated around to where they were needed most. They also helped us with left our Face Shields and Medical Coveralls we still had to donate. We also used websites like GetUsPPE.org to help us find more places in need. Over all, we have now sent PPE all around Massachusetts, and to many other states across the country including NY, CT, OH, FL, TN, and OR.We have also directly sent Masks to some of our partners and customers, some of who have helped donate them to Senior Care Centers in their areas.

This was are most stressful task yet, mainly due to all the uncertainty we had from the beginning of placing the order for the Masks. Even though the timeline was longer than expected, we were happy that everything worked out, and can be confident to do this again if necessary.
